Paying per hour has its benefits, predominately you pay for the IT support you need/want. It doesnt typically include proactive support.

Minimum 1 hour charge
Additional time needed above the initial 1 hour is billed in 15 minute increments, rounded DOWN
No travel out charge ^
Ability to buy hours in bulk at discount ie 5, 10, 25 hour etc
