Now this is IT Support…….

I am a IT Project Manager in Sydney about to cut over to a new network providers router. I have no technical staff on the ground in Melbourne. It’s a simple cable change… you know, unplug one, plug it into the other. The only staff member I have in the office is the Melbourne Director. I request him to make the cut over.

This done, I now ping the router.. nothing, no reply, no reply, no reply.. oh dear… this is not going well.

I type IT Support, Consulting, Melbourne, LAN … looking though the results I see on page 1, “Managed IT solutions, IT services, consulting, support, Melbourne”, bingo…

Friday morning, 8:00am my phone rings, Robert is on site and discussing what he sees and what needs to be done. At 8:30am the Melbourne Director arrives and is told everything is fixed.
