Opportunity

Due to exceptional growth within the organisation, this role has become available. This role is client facing, and therefore you must have a full Australian driver’s license and car in order to be considered.

Requirement

The role is ensuring the smooth operation of our clients systems; you will be the face of the organisation; spending time on site as required.
You will be handling the technical resolution of critical server/desktop problems and maintaining good relationships with the customer in difficult situations!

In order to qualify for this challenging role you need to have the following:

  • Ability to be available for off hours support as needed

IT Related Skills

  • Highly developed knowledge of Windows 2003 and preferably Windows Small Business Server 2003
  • Windows desktop operating systems / back office suites including Microsoft Exchange
  • Knowledge of Server hardware troubleshooting and repair
  • Thorough working knowledge of Microsoft print services using network printers and standard TCP/IP port printing.
  • In-depth knowledge of Active Directory integrated zones and Group Policies, DNS, DHCP, and WINS.
  • Administering and maintaining local area network, remote access via dial-up network and VPN technologies
  • Knowledge of 3rd party applications i.e. McAfee, Sophos, Citrix, MYOB, MS Office etc
  • Experience with TCP/IP and networking principles
  • Creating and maintaining documents describing network and system configuration, and other configuration as needed.
  • Minimum 3 years industry experience in IT systems support role
  • MCSE qualification will be highly regarded
